We embrace the power of change to create value and shared success for our clients, people, shareholders, partners and communities.Visit us at www.accenture.com What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data or reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. • This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making. • The General Ledger Accounting team focuses on maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, resolving accounting queries, and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable accounting • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments and reclassifications • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities as per the close calendar • Perform flux. variance analysis on P&L and balance sheet • Perform bank and cash reconciliations and investigate open items What are we looking for? • Primary skill - Account Reconciliations - P1 • Good understanding of GL accounting, chart of accounts and double-entry bookkeeping • Working knowledge of US GAAP and or IFRS • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S 4HANA or Oracle; exposure to BlackLine is an added advantage • Ability to meet strict period-end close deadlines • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders • Good written and verbal communication skills Roles and Responsibilities: • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture • You are likely to have some interaction with clients and or Accenture management • You will be given minimal instruction on daily work or tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others • In this role you would be an individual contributor and or oversee a small work effort and or team • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts Any Graduation About Accenture Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
