The Team: Our engineering team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks.‏ The team is redefining modern Privileged Access Management (PAM) by delivering Just-in-Time (JIT) and Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) across diverse target environments, including cloud consoles (AWS, Azure, GCP), Managed Kubernetes clusters, SaaS applications, AI agents and more. We are constantly innovating - challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity and the data security landscape. The Role As the Software Engineering Director, you will lead a high-performing engineering organization of 50+ R&D professionals distributed across Israel (Be'er Sheva) and India (Hyderabad). In this leadership role, you will define and execute the strategic technical roadmap, establish operational excellence, and scale multi-tier engineering teams. Partnering closely with Product Management, Architecture, and Platform teams, you will drive delivery standards of enterprise-grade reliability, security, and scalability while championing an AI-first development culture. Key ResponsibilitiesMulti-Site People & Organizational Leadership: Lead, scale, and mentor an engineering organization of 50+ engineers and engineering managers across Be'er Sheva and Hyderabad; drive talent recruitment, develop first-line managers, and foster an inclusive culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance. Customer-Centric Strategy & Roadmap Execution: Partner closely with Product Management, Design (UX), and Platform/Architecture teams to align technical roadmaps with customer needs and business impact, translating broad strategy into predictable, high-impact multi-quarter delivery milestones. Take end-to-end accountability for production health, rapid incident resolution, and ongoing customer satisfaction. AI-First Engineering Transformation: Champion an Agentic Development Lifecycle by leading by example in daily (D2D) AI integration across engineering teams; drive the adoption of AI coding assistants, automated testing, and agentic workflows while setting developer throughput, quality and agility metrics and establishing strict security guardrails. Architecture & Delivery Governance: Establish and uphold high-reliability engineering and architecture standards across distributed microservices and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), ensuring continuous adherence to Zero Trust principles, data security, and platform SLAs. Technical Excellence & Knowledge Sharing: Cultivate an open engineering culture that elevates technical expertise through deep-dive technical discussions, cross-functional collaboration (with Infrastructure, Product, and Design), and collective problem-solving around complex domain challenges. Operational Rigor & Cross-Team Delivery: Drive high execution predictability, responsiveness, and continuous process improvements across distributed teams. Masterfully navigate cross-functional dynamics to align roadmaps, dismantle technical and organizational dependencies, and drive seamless platform integrations for on-time delivery. Qualifications Experience & Scale: 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years leading software engineering teams and managers (proven experience as a Manager of Managers leading organizations of 30+ engineers). Distributed Team Leadership: Demonstrated success directly leading and aligning distributed engineering teams across international sites and time zones. System & SaaS Scale: Deep technical acumen with a proven track record of delivering resilient, high-scale, enterprise-grade SaaS products built on microservices architectures. Cloud Architecture: Extensive knowledge and architectural background working across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Execution & Operational Rigor: Exceptional ownership mindset with a track record of driving complex technical programs, navigating ambiguity, and consistently hitting organizational commitments and roadmaps. Strategic AI Perspective: Experience with or demonstrated commitment to leveraging modern AI tooling and agentic workflows to optimize the software engineering lifecycle. Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent military experience. Preferred QualificationsPrior domain experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity & Access Management (IAM). Hands-on leadership experience driving AI-driven detection or intelligent product features inside cloud platforms.
