Job description

About the Role The Product Specialist supports the Product Management team within the Enterprise Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU). You will drive NPI execution and market launch activities for new products, coordinating across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build product management and cross-functional execution skills in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities • Partner with the Product Manager to develop sample kits, technical brochures, and sales enablement materials; coordinate technical content, specifications, and sample logistics for customer and sales presentations. • Own sample request intake and fulfillment; ensure on time delivery by coordinating with design, project management, production, quality, and SI/testing teams. • Lead production ramp activities with plants and suppliers: manage lead times, capacity, yield metrics, and launch schedules. • Maintain concise status reports, launch readiness checklists, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and timely decisions. • Support cost reduction, capacity planning, and quality improvement initiatives by coordinating with operations and GSOP teams. • Assist sales and customer support with technical clarifications, sample demonstrations, and post launch feedback loops. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. • 3–6 years’ experience in NPI, production engineering, or product support within cable/connector or electronics manufacturing. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities; detail oriented and deadline driven. • Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) for global communication. • Willingness to travel moderately to customer, distribution, supplier, or plant sites as required. • Eagerness to learn and grow in a product management career.
