Must have skills : Python (Programming Language) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems — including Python-driven data pipelines and the Snowflake Data Warehouse. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME, particularly in Python-based workflows and Snowflake Data Warehouse operations. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems, including data discrepancies traced across Python transformation layers and Snowflake pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective fixes. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions — including Python scripts and Snowflake SQL queries used during investigations — to build a knowledge base for future reference. Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools, including Python-based automation to reduce manual diagnostic effort. Provide timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language) and hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse. Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in debugging and troubleshooting Python applications and Snowflake SQL queries. Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to track system health and performance, including Snowflake Query Profiler and warehouse utilization metrics. Ability to analyze logs, Python stack traces, and Snowflake system outputs to identify anomalies and potential issues. Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring quick response and resolution times. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language) hands-on Snowflake experience is required. This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
