Collaborates with the Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. Must have skills : Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and implementing comprehensive data platform blueprints that support organizational data needs. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration of various systems and data models. The position demands a strategic approach to building scalable and efficient data platforms, overseeing the alignment of technical components, and ensuring that the architecture supports business objectives effectively. The role also includes continuous evaluation and refinement of the platform to adapt to evolving data requirements and technological advancements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the development and implementation of data platform strategies that align with organizational goals. - Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure data platform consistency and reliability. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices related to large-scale data platforms. - Experience with cloud-based data solutions and distributed computing environments. - Ability to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing. - Familiarity with data governance, security standards, and compliance requirements. - Skilled in troubleshooting complex data platform issues and implementing robust solutions.
