The Senior Finance Manager, Services Finance is the strategic finance partner to the Services organization, responsible for driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making across the business. This role partners closely with Services Leadership to provide financial leadership, business insights, and strategic recommendations that influence key operating decisions and long-term business strategy. The position serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights that improve performance and drive accountability. A critical component of this role is leading the modernization of the Services Finance reporting and analytics ecosystem through automation, business intelligence tools, and scalable reporting processes. The successful candidate will transform data into actionable insights, enabling Service Leadership to make faster, more informed business decisions while reducing reliance on manual reporting processes. The ideal candidate combines strong finance and analytical capabilities with deep services business experience, exceptional business partnering skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead reporting transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to the Services Leadership Team. • Provide financial leadership and strategic decision support to drive profitable growth and operational excellence. • Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, resource allocation, organizational design, pricing strategies, and productivity initiatives. • Support strategic initiatives focused on service growth, warranty conversions, customer retention, field service productivity, and operational effectiveness. • Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial perspectives to improve business outcomes. • Drive accountability for financial and operational performance through transparent reporting and performance management. Financial Planning & Analysis • Lead annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and long-range planning processes for the Services organization. • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models supporting service revenue, gross margin, labor utilization, contract renewal rates, and operating expenses. • Identify business risks and opportunities and partner with leadership on mitigation and action plans. • Prepare executive-level financial analyses and recommendations for monthly operating reviews and leadership meetings. • Enhance forecasting accuracy through improved analytics, operational metrics, and business Reporting, Analytics & Automation • Lead the redesign and modernization of the Services reporting infrastructure. • Develop and deploy executive KPI dashboards, performance scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions. • Utilize Tableau to provide timely, accurate, and actionable business insights. • Drive automation initiatives that improve reporting efficiency, increase data accuracy, and reduce manual effort. • Establish standardized reporting definitions, KPI frameworks, and data governance practices. • Create a scalable reporting environment that provides a single source of truth for Services financial and operational performance. • Partner with IT, Digital, Revenue Operations, and Commercial Finance teams to improve data accessibility, reporting architecture, and business intelligence capabilities. Performance Management • Monitor and communicate performance against revenue, gross margin, operating income, productivity, and customer service objectives. • Conduct variance analyses and identify key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with concise and actionable performance insights. • Develop operational metrics and performance scorecards that drive accountability throughout the organization. • Ensure business leaders have visibility to key trends and emerging issues that impact performance.Process Improvement & Finance Transformation • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate reporting, and improve financial controls. • Lead initiatives focused on finance transformation, business intelligence, and process scalability. • Champion continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in forecasting, performance management, and financial analysis. • Foster a data-driven culture that enables informed decision making across the Services organization. Skill Requirements Qualifications Education • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced professional designation preferred. Experience • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operational Finance, or Finance Business Partnering roles. • Minimum 6 years supporting a Services organization, including Field Service, Technical Service, Professional Services, Customer Support, Service Contracts, or related service-oriented businesses. • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing strategic decisions. • Proven track record leading reporting transformation, business intelligence, and process improvement initiatives. • Experience supporting a global business environment preferred. Technical Skills • Advanced financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling capabilities. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Advanced proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization. • Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle EPBCS, Salesforce, ServiceMax, Tableau, and Power BI preferred. • Experience with automation technologies such as Power Automate, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Python, SQL, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or similar tools preferred. • Strong understanding of data management, reporting architecture, and business performance measurement.
