Must have skills : SUSE Linux Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Cloud Operations Administrator, a typical day involves collaborating closely with the Service Delivery Manager to oversee capacity management, ensuring that cloud resources are efficiently allocated and utilized. The role includes managing billing and show back operations to maintain transparency and accuracy in cloud expenditure. Additionally, the position requires continuous efforts in cost optimization across various cloud environments, balancing performance and budget considerations. This role demands proactive monitoring and coordination to support seamless cloud operations and contribute to the overall effectiveness of cloud services within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cloud operations with organizational goals. - Monitor cloud resource utilization and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud service delivery and operational processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration. - Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based cloud environments. - Strong understanding of system performance monitoring and capacity planning. - Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting languages and tools. - Familiarity with cloud billing and cost management practices. - Knowledge of security best practices in Linux system administration.
