Lead the development and maturity of high-speed precision stamping capabilities within TE Automotive Tangier , positioning stamping as a strategic manufacturing competency and a sustainable source of competitive advantage. The role is accountable for establishing technical expertise, driving technology standardization, accelerating industrial readiness, and enabling scalable, reliable, and cost-competitive stamping operations aligned with current and future business requirements. Your main tasks Lead the development of world-class high-speed stamping expertise, driving technical capability growth and knowledge transfer across manufacturing teams. Define and deploy standardized stamping processes, tooling strategies, and manufacturing best practices to ensure operational excellence and scalability. Support the industrialization and successful ramp-up of new stamping technologies, equipment, and tooling solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, equipment performance, and manufacturing efficiency. Evaluate and implement innovative manufacturing technologies, including automation, inline inspection, and advanced process monitoring solutions. Provide technical leadership for equipment selection, tooling strategy, supplier assessment, and capital investment planning. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing challenges, reduce technical risks, and strengthen production readiness. Coach and develop engineering teams while promoting a culture of technical excellence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Contribute to the long-term stamping technology roadmap, aligning manufacturing capabilities with future business and product requirements. Your ideal background Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in precision stamping and manufacturing operations. Strong expertise in high-speed stamping processes, progressive dies, tooling systems, and manufacturing equipment. Experience in industrialization, process optimization, and production ramp-ups. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles. Proven experience leading technical teams, developing engineering capabilities, and driving cross-functional initiatives. Familiarity with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to establish technical standards and drive manufacturing best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment. Fluent English & French, both written and spoken. German will be a strong plus Mobility - Willingness to travel up to 50% across regional and international manufacturing sites.
