Your responsibilities will include: Mobile Architecture & Ownership: Lead the architecture, technical design, development, and evolution of Android and iOS applications, including native and Kotlin Multiplatform solutions, across existing products and new development initiatives. Mobile-to-Backend Architecture & Integration: Drive the end-to-end design and architecture of mobile application integration with backend and cloud services, including API contracts, data models, authentication, authorization, secure data exchange, error handling, synchronization, and connectivity resilience. Partner with backend and cloud engineering teams to define scalable, reliable, and maintainable system interfaces. Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for mobile engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, driving architectural decisions, and resolving complex engineering challenges. Engineering Excellence: Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and software development best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable applications. Platform Standards: Ensure adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Android Material Design, accessibility, performance, security, and platform-specific user experience standards. Regulated Software Delivery: Own the technical quality and completeness of mobile software deliverables, including architecture, design documentation, risk assessments, traceability, and verification evidence, in accordance with FDA design controls, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and internal quality processes.
