About the role We are looking for a Proposal Manager & Writer – a hybrid role that combines proposal management with hands-on proposal writing. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of proposal development for large deals and act as the main liaison with the Bid Manager. You will coordinate and support strategy, content creation, and editing, ensuring alignment with pursuit goals. You will also guide the pursuit team and subject matter experts in delivering compelling, differentiated messaging that maximizes client impact. Daily Challenges Leading storyboarding, digital strategy, and message-mapping workshops, and contributing to pursuit strategy and resource mix. Building trusted stakeholder relationships and attending meetings to understand the client and deal context and capture the proposal's big idea. Overseeing proposal development from initial content creation to final delivery. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create compelling content tailored to client requirements and evaluation criteria. Proofreading and editing to ensure consistent messaging and "One Voice" across proposal documents and oral presentations. Developing writing training tools and guidelines for global pursuit teams. eXperience and Skills Required Experience as a Proposal Lead or Proposal Manager, leading proposal development and tailoring content to client-specific requirements. Strong writing and communication skills, with keen attention to detail. Proven ability to manage timelines and deliver high-quality proposals on time. Fluent English. German or Spanish is a bonus. Understanding of business context and solution offerings, and ability to research and articulate a client's values and culture. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
