The Maintenance Procurement and Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory control, receiving, storage, and issuance of maintenance materials, spare parts, and services required to support site operations. This role ensures that maintenance and reliability teams have the right materials available at the right time while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels and strong supplier relationships. Effective management of maintenance materials and procurement activities is essential to plant reliability, cost control, and operational success. The Maintenance Procurement and Inventory Specialist helps minimize equipment downtime through efficient inventory management, strategic sourcing, and timely material availability. This role contributes directly to asset reliability, working capital optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. As a Maintenance Procurement and Inventory Specialist, you will... Procure maintenance materials, spare parts, equipment, and services to support plant operations. Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up activities. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for critical spare parts and consumable materials. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. Support emergency procurement activities during equipment failures and plant outages. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, safety requirements, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate material master data, vendor information, and inventory records within SAP.
