Job description

At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable. Europe Finance is organized around three pillars: FP&A, Billing & Infrastructure, and Finance Operations & Tax. As Finance Transformation & AI Manager, you will be part of the Finance Operations & Tax team and own Finance transformation end to end. Our processes across European markets work, but they can be significantly better, faster and more automated, and AI and automation are a core objective rather than an afterthought. You will report directly to the Director of Finance Operations & Tax Europe and act as the Director’s right hand on Europe-wide topics, with the mandate and the room to shape how things work, not just maintain them. This role is based in Warsaw or Sofia on a hybrid model. This is not a people-management role. About the Role • Transformation delivery: Lead cross-market Finance transformation initiatives end to end, from identifying the opportunity through scoping, stakeholder alignment, delivery and adoption • AI & automation: Systematically identify where AI, automation and process redesign can eliminate manual work and strengthen control, then drive implementation • Lean & standardization: Apply Lean and continuous-improvement principles to understand and standardise processes before automating them • Control oversight: Maintain oversight of key control areas across markets: balance sheet reconciliations, audit findings and tax exposures • Deputy to the Director: Act as a senior partner and trusted deputy to the Director Finance Operations & Tax, aligning operating models and best practices across markets. About You • 6–8 years in finance operations, accounting or tax within a multinational environment; an audit or advisory background is a plus • Proven track record of owning and delivering cross-functional projects from idea to implementation • Hands-on exposure to process automation, AI tools or finance systems implementation • Familiarity with Lean Management, continuous improvement or similar methodologies is a strong plus • Strong project ownership: able to structure ambiguous problems, move them independently and land results without direct authority • Solid grasp of accounting, reconciliations and multi-jurisdiction tax compliance • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus <span style="font-siz
