Job description

We are looking for a Senior Data Migration Technical Expert / Technical Lead to own the end-to-end migration of procurement and financial data from Zip into Oracle Fusion Cloud . The role will lead the technical migration lifecycle, including data extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, loading, reconciliation, defect resolution, and cutover . The candidate should have strong Oracle Fusion data migration expertise and be capable of working closely with P2P functional architects, business SMEs, source-system teams, and Oracle technical teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end data migration strategy and technical delivery from Zip to Oracle Fusion Cloud. Own migration activities covering: Source data extraction Data profiling and assessment Source-to-target mapping Data cleansing Transformation Data validation Oracle Fusion data loading Error handling and reprocessing Reconciliation Cutover and production migration Work with P2P functional teams to define migration requirements for procurement and finance-related objects. Design source-to-target mappings between Zip and Oracle Fusion data structures. Develop and manage transformation rules to align source data with Oracle Fusion configuration and business requirements. Lead Oracle Fusion data-loading activities using applicable Oracle migration mechanisms such as FBDI and REST/SOAP-based integrations , depending on the migration design. Drive migration of relevant master, reference, and transactional data such as: Suppliers and supplier sites Procurement-related master/reference data Purchase requisitions, where applicable Purchase orders and open commitments Receipts AP invoices and other finance-related transactional data, where in scope Establish technical validation and reconciliation controls between source, transformed, and loaded datasets. Identify data-quality issues, migration failures, duplicates, incorrect mappings, and transformation defects and drive them through resolution. Develop repeatable migration routines for mock conversions, testing cycles, dress rehearsals, and production cutover. Support SIT, UAT, data validation, migration rehearsals, and go-live activities . Collaborate with Oracle Fusion functional architects to ensure migrated data aligns with Fusion configurations and P2P business processes. Coordinate with integration, reporting, security, Finance, Procurement, and source-system teams. Define migration dependencies, sequencing, restart/recovery procedures, and cutover requirements. Maintain technical migration documentation, mapping specifications, transformation rules, migration runbooks, validation reports, and reconciliation results. Provide technical leadership to developers/data engineers and troubleshoot complex data migration issues. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud data migration and conversion projects . Hands-on expertise in ETL/data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading . Strong experience with Oracle Fusion data-loading/integration approaches such as: FBDI REST APIs SOAP services Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), where applicable Strong SQL and data-analysis/troubleshooting skills. Experience handling high-volume master and transactional data migration. Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Procurement, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable data structures and business processes . Strong knowledge of source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation. Experience leading multiple migration cycles, including mock loads and production cutover. Ability to diagnose Oracle Fusion interface/load errors and coordinate functional and technical resolution. Strong understanding of migration controls, auditability, error reporting, and data reconciliation. Excellent stakeholder-management and technical-leadership skills.
