Your Job This role is the senior Digital Technology partner for the Zhuhai site and OSBU operations in China. Working across local IT teams, plant and OSBU leadership, and global Digital teams, the Director provides clear accountability, coordination and technical direction so that plant priorities are delivered quickly, safely and in line with enterprise standards. Our Team Molex is investing significantly in its Zhuhai manufacturing site, one of its largest plants, and in its Optical Solutions Business Unit (OSBU). The site's continued growth depends on digital capabilities that are reliable, secure and able to scale with the business. What You Will Do Build one collaborative Digital team for Zhuhai and OSBU Bring vision and technical direction so solutions are built to scale with a growing plant and business unit. Integrate varied ownership of IT infrastructure and applications teams into a single organization with clear roles, ownership and escalation paths. Set team priorities jointly with plant and OSBU leadership so that production, customer commitments and growth initiatives are consistently supported. Build, or grow, local capability to support ERP, PLM and MES, working closely with the global platform owners. Recruit, develop and retain local talent, and build succession and bench strength for critical roles. Network and infrastructure Own the design, operation and resilience of the Zhuhai site network, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, switching, routing, firewalls and wireless, together with data center and plant-floor infrastructure. Lead the transition of the site to one Molex network aligned to enterprise architecture, security and supportability standards, with appropriate segmentation for manufacturing, development and customer-connectivity needs. Ensure every network and infrastructure change follows a formal, auditable change management process, with impact assessment, rollback plans and joint review with global teams before implementation. Plan capacity and infrastructure to keep pace with plant expansion, new production lines and new product introductions. Enterprise and manufacturing applications Lead local support, enhancement and adoption of manufacturing and engineering applications used at the site. Partner with the global ERP, PLM, MES and data teams on roadmaps, releases and integrations so that local solutions follow enterprise standards. Govern site-specific and custom applications that interface with enterprise systems, ensuring they are documented, secure and supportable. Operational excellence and incident management Serve as the single accountable leader in the region for critical (P1) incidents, driving rapid restoration, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Define and track service levels, incident priority definitions and operational KPIs, and deliver a measurable reduction in recurring incidents. Establish clear communication and escalation protocols to plant, OSBU and global Digital leadership during incidents. Ensure every change to the environment, across infrastructure and applications, follows a formal, auditable change management process, with impact assessment, rollback plans and joint review with global teams before implementation. Drive accountability for the full regression impact of change, so that application owners test the systems they own and downstream effects are understood before a change is made. Security, compliance and governance Partner with global information security to apply enterprise security controls, access management and compliance requirements across all site environments. Ensure infrastructure and application environments are documented, auditable and meet customer, corporate and regulatory requirements, including China cybersecurity and data regulations. Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the site's critical systems are in place, tested and understood. Business partnership Act as the trusted Digital partner to Zhuhai plant and OSBU leadership, translating business and customer needs into prioritized, deliverable plans. Enable growth initiatives, capacity expansions and customer-driven requirements quickly and safely, including secure customer connectivity where needed. Escalate directly and constructively to business and Digital leadership where a priority creates risk to continuity, security or the integrity of the environment. Represent the site in global Digital forums and bring global capabilities, platforms and best practices to the region.
