About the role As a Tribe Architect, you will shape the technology direction for a portfolio of products, defining and driving the target architecture across business, application, data, infrastructure, and security domains. Working as a key member of the Tribe Leadership Team, you will influence the technical roadmap, manage architectural risk and technical debt, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to enterprise architecture standards. Define and drive the target architecture for the Tribe's products and platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Partner with Tribe leadership and squads to shape technical roadmaps, architectural decisions, and solution designs. Lead the development and maintenance of architecture roadmaps, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned to business objectives. Manage architectural dependencies, technical debt, and technology lifecycle requirements across the Tribe and broader organisation. Champion secure-by-design principles, ensuring security, compliance, and non-functional requirements are embedded in solution development. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and technology stakeholders to promote best practice, standardisation, and innovation across platforms and services. Provide architectural leadership to support delivery planning, technology capability uplift, and continuous improvement within agile teams. About you Proven experience defining and delivering technology strategy and target architecture aligned to business objectives partnerning with sales and digital business units is preferred. Proven experience in general insurance or financial services is essential. Strong architectural expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and security within complex enterprise environments. Ability to make and influence key architectural decisions that drive scalability, performance, and quality outcomes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Proven leadership capability, including coaching teams, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach to managing complex technical challenges.
