To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Communications Business Partner (a), 80–100%, with the skills and motivation to independently support our businesses in all areas of communications. The position reports to the Head of Group Communications and External Affairs and is located in Bubendorf/CH. Your tasks: Acts as a business partner in the Group Communications and External Affairs team, supporting business priorities and projects across all internal and external channels (incl. digital, social media and events) Drives integrated, channel‑agnostic communication execution, ensuring consistent narratives, messages and tone across all touchpoints Translates business topics and milestones into clear, audience‑appropriate communication content, aligned with communication strategy, brand guidelines and governance Develops and coordinates multi‑channel communication assets (e.g. articles, presentations, visuals, social‑media‑ready content) in close collaboration with Group Communications channel and topic leads Supports global communication coordination across the group’s locations, enabling consistent messaging and effective localization Prepares and supports global leadership meetings and provides project support for key events such as Capital Market Day, Financial Results and Annual General Meeting, contributing to storyline, content and cross‑channel delivery Your profile: Minimum five years’ work experience in corporate communications, experience with manufacturing organizations and/or chemical or pharmaceutical industries is a plus Strong command of both English and German is mandatory with strong writing and storytelling skills in either language, French a plus Strong skills in content creation for different audiences and across all channels A university degree in science, business communication or related fields Townhall hosting, facilitation and related technical skills Ability to work within a deadline-driven, high-energy and fast-paced environment Strong time and project management skills Collaborative attitude and an ability to operate in a changing environment and rapidly growing company A positive, constructive, and can-do approach to work and colleagues Strong team player, networking- and communication skills Customer and solution focused, self-driven and able to prioritize Our offer: An exciting and challenging job in a dynamic and rapidly growing work environment with internal development opportunities Flexible working hours with home office days and an option for obtaining additional vacation days through workload reduction Employee development through numerous internal and external training opportunities 60% coverage of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as option for extra-mandatory pension provision with our Pension Plan Plus Access to benefits platforms with discounts from external partners Fresh, healthy and varied food in our staff restaurant A wide range of free sports activities on the Bachem Campus Would you like to drive innovation together with us?
