Description: As a demand planner II within our logistics department, you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders from receipt through shipment. This role serves as a key link between customer service, inventory management, warehouse operations, and shipping to ensure customer requirements and promised delivery dates are met. The position is temporary for 1 year. Key Responsibilities: Enter and process customer sales orders accurately in the company system. Monitor and follow up on inventory availability to support order fulfillment. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are picked and prepared on schedule. Create and issue picking lists for warehouse operations. Generate shipping documentation once packing information becomes available. Ensure shipments are processed and dispatched according to promised ship dates. Proactively communicate order status, inventory issues, delays, and shipment updates to internal teams and customers as needed. Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and related documentation. Collaborate with sales, customer service, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve order-related issues efficiently. Support continuous improvement of order processing and fulfillment procedures. Requirements: Experience in order entry, customer service, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making capability Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
