Discover Impactful Work As a Senior Engineer, Technical Sourcing Engineering (TSE) – Plastic, you’ll help drive the technical strategy for plastics products and sourcing. In this role, you will: Lead alternate, dual, and resourcing initiatives with suppliers Manage Supplier Change Request (SCR) resolution to completion and First Article submission to approval Support product scale-up and capacity expansion Troubleshoot and resolve plastics-related quality issues Contribute to cost savings and productivity improvements Partner with cross-functional teams on New Product Introductions (NPI) A Day in the Life You’ll work closely with teams across R&D, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, Product Management, and Operations. Your work may span the full product lifecycle—from early concept through end-of-life. You’ll engage with a range of manufacturing processes, including: Injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, and extrusion Secondary processes such as pad printing, plasma treatment, and sterilization We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, collaborating across teams, and working hands-on with plastics manufacturing and tooling. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Experience 8+ years of experience in product design, new product development, tooling, or manufacturing Skills & Experience Core Skills Experience addressing molding and processing challenges Familiarity with tooling design and plastics manufacturing processes Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment Strong technical writing and documentation skills Nice to Have Experience with sourcing or procurement Familiarity with SAP, Agile, or Oracle systems Experience in regulated industries (biotech, pharmaceutical, etc.) Exposure to secondary operations and sterilization processes Additional Information Travel: Up to 15% (domestic and international) This position does not offer relocation benefits
