Field Application Engineering Technician – Metal Packaging— Adhesive Technologies

About this Position We are looking for a Field Application Engineering Technician to provide technical support and develop product applications for customers in the Metal Packaging industry, particularly in Two-Piece Aluminum Cans. This role combines customer interaction, technical problem-solving, product demonstrations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve customer processes and drive innovation. What you´ll do Recommend products and develop customized applications based on customer needs. Conduct technical visits, product demonstrations, audits, and troubleshooting at customer sites. Support laboratory testing, product qualification, and technical analysis. Provide technical training to customers and field sales teams. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Innovation teams. Share technical knowledge and best practices across business units. What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Metal Packaging, particularly Two-Piece Aluminum Cans. Knowledge of laboratory testing, product applications, and customer technical support. Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Metal Packaging D&I and washer processes is a plus. English and Spanish are highly desirable.
