Job description

The Reality Labs Manufacturing Operations team builds the operational capabilities that take Meta's next-generation smart wearables, charging cases and AR/VR hardware into production at our global contract manufacturing partners. We work across engineering, operations and factory execution. We prepare factory sites, speed up production ramp, and drive technical quality from new product introduction through end of life. As a Technical Program Manager Intern, you'll join our hardware operations organization and lead a project to design an optimized production line for charging case manufacturing. You'll work with Manufacturing Operations, Design for Excellence, Manufacturing Test Engineering, Industrial Engineering and contract manufacturer teams across multiple sites. You'll analyze factory data, evaluate line layouts and station cycle times, and propose a production line design that can serve as a benchmark for future device programs.
