You will have the tools and resources in place to manage a highly successful team of individuals.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cb\u003EPosition Description:\u003C/b\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ESupervise and lead a team of Class A Commercial Drivers during night-shift operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time transportation of freight.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EOversee the daily movement of freight from the Lehigh Valley Distribution Center to five regional cross-dock locations throughout the NY, NJ \u0026 PA region.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMonitor driver performance and adherence to company safety standards, policies, and operating procedures.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEnsure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and company transportation regulations.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EReview and monitor Omnitracs XRS electronic logs to ensure Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and address violations proactively.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECoach and develop drivers utilizing Netradyne safety and performance data, providing feedback to improve driving behaviors and reduce risk.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EConduct driver observations, safety reviews, ride-alongs, and performance discussions to support continuous improvement.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EInvestigate and document transportation incidents, accidents, and safety concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECoordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and roadside service with vehicle lease providers and maintenance vendors.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMaintain fleet readiness by monitoring equipment condition, ensuring regulatory inspections are completed, and minimizing downtime.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ESupport warehouse and distribution center operations, including freight handling, loading, unloading, staging, and operational coordination as business needs require.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECollaborate with warehouse leadership to ensure efficient freight flow and operational continuity during overnight shifts.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAssist with route planning, schedule adjustments, dispatch activities, and contingency planning to meet customer and business requirements.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEnsure proper securement, handling, and transportation of freight while maintaining service and productivity expectations.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EOperate Class A tractor-trailers, 26-foot straight trucks, and sprinter vans as needed to support business operations and service requirements.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EUtilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare reports, analyze transportation data, track performance metrics, and communicate operational updates.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMonitor transportation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, service, equipment utilization, and driver productivity.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMaintain accurate transportation, safety, maintenance, and compliance records.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPartner with operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced transportation efficiency.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProvide after-hours operational support and decision-making to ensure uninterrupted transportation and distribution operations.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cb\u003EMinimum Requirements:\u003C/b\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ETypically requires 3\u002B years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cb\u003ESkill
