The Artwork Planning Lead is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple packaging artwork projects, from design through to print production, for a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client. With over 7 years of experience and a strong background in project management, this individual will lead cross-functional meetings to align priorities, allocate resources effectively, and enhance artwork management efficiency. Your Role This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sourcing, Supply, Design, and Operations, to ensure the successful delivery of new products to market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing artwork development and the production process within a CPG company or a related industry. In this role you will play a key role in: Lead and oversee the multiple packaging artwork projects from design through to print package. Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (marketing, design, R&D, regulatory, supply chain) and external stakeholders (agencies, printers, suppliers). Sets agenda, and clearly defines cross-functional responsibilities from project start to completion. Facilitate regular communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Maintain up-to-date records of project progress using project management tools and spreadsheets. This includes tracking milestones, deliverables, and any deviations from the original plan. Identify risks, bottlenecks, or delays in the artwork development process and implement solutions to mitigate them. Compile regular artwork project reports that highlight progress, challenges, and solutions. Communicate these findings to seniors and cross-functional teams to keep everyone informed and engaged. Manage feedback loops, consolidating inputs to minimize iterations and maintain efficiency. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in marketing, , project management, or a related field. ​ Proven experience in managing end-to-end process of artwork, printing and digital assets creation in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment ​ 10+ years of experience in artwork management, packaging, or project management within a CPG or FMCG environment. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple functions (marketing, R&D, sourcing, design external agencies and operations) ​ Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira is crucial for tracking tasks, deadlines, and progress. Familiarity in artwork and design software is beneficial; while direct design involvement is not required, a basic understanding of platforms like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) can enhance communication with creative teams WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE You can shape your career with us. For this role, the gross annual starting base salary is [X] [currency] (full-time).
