Job Description We are looking for a (Senior) Vendor Manager (m/f/d) (unlimited, full-time) to join our team in Baden-Baden or Verl - flexible working conditions available Your challenges You drive the sourcing of goods and services end-to-end, from market analysis and vendor selection to negotiation and award, while securing the best balance of quality, cost, risk, and long-term value. You manage contracts across their full lifecycle, from preparation and signature to renewals, changes and exit, and make sure agreed terms and savings are delivered. You build and develop strong, long-term relationships with key vendors, steer their performance and spot risks and opportunities in the market at an early stage. You use procurement tools, reports and KPIs to automate routine work, create transparency on spend, vendors and contracts, and prepare well-founded decisions. You act as a business partner for business units, advise them on sourcing and vendor topics, and share best practices and knowledge within the team. You identify and implement improvements to our procurement processes and tools to make them simpler, faster and scalable across the organization. Qualifications What you bring to the table You have a degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a comparable qualification. You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, with a strong focus on IT and software sourcing, including negotiation, vendor and contract management. You bring strong analytical skills and feel comfortable working with KPIs, reports, data and complex requirements. You work in a structured and independent way, are a confident communicator with stakeholders and vendors, and understand procurement as a solution-oriented, advisory partner to the business. You are fluent in German and English and enjoy working in an international environment.
