Job Description Software Engineer Consultant I implement applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They partner on full stack of software products developing and implementing frontends, and backend services. They leverage test driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. They actively participate in the decision-making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs. Key Responsibilities• Coordinates within the team in designing systems and apps • Practices daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products • Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups • Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product • Applies functional professional knowledge sharing, and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team • Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices • Coordinates support for software products in user environments • Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team’s backlog Front End (MUST HAVE): 2+ years of experience hands-on programming experience onAngular, CSS 3 / HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, ES6, NodeJS, Angular Material / Bootstrap + Prime NG, Storybook, Launch Darkly, Amplitude, Qualtrics or similar frameworks Middle ware (MUST HAVE): 5+ years of experience inJava Core, Spring Boot, Kafka, Junit, Swagger, Splunk Back End (MUST HAVE): 5+ years of experience inSQL and PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Informatica (Not Mandatory) DevOps & QA (MUST HAVE): 4+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD delivery methodology, technologies, and familiar with tools likeVersion control: Preferably Git or similar CI: Preferably Jenkins or similar Static code analysis: Preferably SonarQube or similar Cyber Security: Preferably Veracode or similar QA: TestRail, Coda, Postman or similar Reporting: Preferably Tableau or similar Debugging: Preferably PagerDuty, Splunk, Postman or similar Cloud (MUST HAVE): 4+ years of experience with cloud technologyUsing AWS services /or any other equivalent cloud services Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree Experience • 4 or more years of experience Location Bangalore/Pune Primary Skills Shift Time Recruiter Info Hiral Parag Rughani hparb@allstate.com About Allstate Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
