We are looking for an experienced EHS Specialist to drive occupational safety, health protection and environmental compliance at our site in Thörishaus. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting our employees in maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment. Your responsibilities Act as the EHS expert for occupational safety, health protection and environmental compliance at the site Ensure compliance with all applicable Swiss EHS legislation and regulatory requirements Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses and workplace inspections to identify and mitigate EHS risks Investigate EHS incidents, including accidents and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions Develop, coordinate and maintain an effective emergency response organization Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization Coordinate local and corporate EHS reporting and support hazardous waste management activities About you Certified Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (ASGS) with Swiss Federal Diploma (eidgenössischer Fachausweis) or equivalent Swiss-recognized qualification Several years of experience in occupational safety, health protection and/or environmental management Strong knowledge of Swiss EHS regulations, the requirements of EKAS Guideline No. 6508 (ASA Directive) and the regulations under the Swiss Labor Code Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations and implementation of preventive measures Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and train employees at all levels Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken) What we offer An opportunity to make a significant impact on workplace safety and environmental performance A key role with broad responsibility and visibility across the organization A collaborative and international working environment Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning Attractive employment conditions and benefits Are you ready to join us in our mission?
