The Moonshine Leader oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of fabrication activities to support plant-wide Continuous Improvement projects. The position ensures the timely delivery of Kaizen-related solutions, operational furniture, and workplace improvements while driving 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) implementation , supporting Bright Idea generation and execution , and promoting safety, productivity, cost savings, and effective resource utilization. Ensure compliance with safety policies and standards within the Moonshine Facility. · Maintain shop discipline and proper utilization of facilities, tools, and equipment. · Plan and monitor Moonshine job orders to ensure on-time delivery and quality output. · Ensure material availability for ongoing and upcoming projects. · Optimize manpower and coordinate overtime activities when required. · Maintain housekeeping and proper maintenance of tools and equipment. · Update daily production status and prepare performance reports. · Train and orient TEOAs and other personnel on Moonshine fabrication processes, safety requirements, and proper facility usage. · Define and maintain PPE requirements and safety guidelines. · Lead Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Bright Idea, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. · Conduct Safety and 5S audits and support plant-wide 5S implementation. · Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. · Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineer 3 years experience Moonshine Fabrication, Welding, Project Planning and Execution Should have knowledge on reading and understanding the drawings. Providing expertise and assistance in the implementation of lean tools, managing control functions, and updating them for best practices and process maps. Evaluating the training effectiveness, relevance, and application to the current role and mentoring them in implementing the efficient standard work procedures. What your background should look like Typically requires 5-6 years or more of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
