This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing SAP Commerce (Hybris) and Fusion solutions. This role involves defining technical solutions, ensuring best practices, and guiding development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce platforms. Candidate will establish best practices and guidelines for the development team to implement solutions that solve business problems. Position is focused on providing continuous innovations and enhancements to TE Connectivity’s CRM, Marketing and Service teams. Individual will have the opportunity to build integrated solutions on TE.com, OnPrem Hybris and SAP cloud Hybris. Individuals will liaison with technical architects and development teams to convert technical strategies and roadmaps into robust world class solution What your background should look like: • Experience in full life-cycle projects: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment • Understand and leverage TE’s multitude tech stack on TE.com integrating with Hybris and implementing features using Fusion Middleware components. • Design and implement integrations with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party systems alongside integrating with TE.com. • Customize Hybris modules (Product Catalog, Order Management, Promotions, etc.) as per business needs. • Hands-on experience with SOA Suite, OSB, BPEL, and Java/JDeveloper for Fusion implementation. • Experience with SAP ERP integration. • Knowledge of microservices architecture. • Stay updated with SAP Commerce roadmap and emerging technologies. • Recommend improvements to architecture and processes • Work with a variety of vendor platforms and provide technical direction to development teams, both internal and vendor partners • Provide expert advice & guidance on Hybris development methodologies and coding standards, innovative solutions, best practices in an agile environment • Understand the TE.com Architecture and influence design for requirements, collaborate between TE Architects and developers to translate strategies into robust solutions & drive releases • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business process/requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Responsible for driving operational excellence by implementing strategies for continuous delivery of hybris/fusion features by exploring ways to improve processes & productivity & make recommendation to support an organization looking to implement hybris/fusion at rapid pace • Design and develop technical proposals, usability studies, software evaluations, technical qualifications and buy vs. build recommendations as needed • Knowledge of security and compliance consideration in Hybris/Fusion implementations and partner with various teams including other Dev-Ops, Support, operations (I&O), database, network, and security to design, implement, maintain, and monitor systems • Demonstrate ability to adapt and learn emerging technologies in this space. Challenge self and team to innovate and keep up with market trends • Must be able to occasionally travel worldwide and flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications Competencies & Experience Required/Desired • Around 18+ years of IT experience with minimum 10 years on Hybris platform and good exposure on Fusion development. • Strong experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) architecture and development. • Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, and RESTful APIs. • Hands-on experience with Hybris modules: Product Catalog, Order Management, Promotions, CMS. • Hands-on experience with SOA Suite, OSB, BPEL, and Java/JDeveloper. • Knowledge of integration patterns and tools (e.g., Data Hub, OCC APIs). • Knowledge of Oracle PaaS offerings, integration security, and Fusion API capabilities. • Strong understanding of performance tuning, security, and scalability. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Strong knowledge in version control and CI/CD implementation using CI/CD tools like GitHub, Copado etc. • Working experience with agile development & methodologies & tools Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
