Communicate upcoming changes to suppliers, buyers, planners and production teams, ensuring relevant stakeholders receive the necessary information. Review open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers and buyers on any adjustments required, due to engineering changes. Help identify potential costs related to obsolete materials, scrap and rework, and support the approval process where needed. Maintain accurate planning data and material information in the ERP system. Follow up on change-related issues, including supplier enquiries, pricing discrepancies and material availability, involving the appropriate colleagues to resolve them. Track ongoing changes, follow up on outstanding actions and help ensure activities are completed on time. Contribute ideas for improving daily processes and ways of working within the planning function.
