Job Summary We are currently seeking an IT Risk & Security Governance Intern from June 2027 – May 2028. This position works for approximately 20 hours per week. Responsibilities This internship will support multiple projects in IT Risk & Security Governance. Partnering with team members, the intern will gain experience and be assigned projects that include the following: Review alerts to determine impact to systems and employees and perform response tasks Perform analysis of a variety of data sets to investigate potentially malicious activity Review threat material to determine impact and actions Work closely with IT staff to work active incidents through to closure Review daily reports of phishing emails/locked accounts/potentially malicious activity Prepare cybersecurity awareness presentation material monthly Qualifications Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Junior or Senior) with coursework or have a strong background in the fields of Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems (or related fields). Prior experience in a corporate business environment is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required.
