Hardware Thermal Engineer, Infrastructure

Job description

You will be responsible for owning thermal design and optimization for new hardware systems and evaluating advanced thermal technologies. The engineer will solve heat-transfer problems at the component, sub-system, system, and rack levels using thermal fundamentals, analytical tools, simulation, and hands-on hardware validation. This role offers the opportunity to work across end-to-end thermal engineering, including technology development, platform design, lab test development, data center deployment, and operational support. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering partners and external vendors to drive thermal programs from conception through deployment, with scalable and reliable methodologies in mind. you will also provide in-region support to identify and close gaps between design intent, supplier execution, validation readiness, and deployment. You will convert recurring learnings into clear specifications, test methods, checklists, and standards that can scale across programs.
