Job description

Your Job Koch Recruiting is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our Georgia-Pacific recruiting team. Georgia-Pacific makes everyday products spanning tissue, towels, packaging, cellulose, and building materials that improve people’s lives. In this role, you will lead a recruiting team supporting the Corporate Functions of GP, including both experienced and early career hiring efforts. A primary measure of success will be building stronger recruiting capability through others — developing recruiters into trusted advisors who use business context, data, market insights, and AI-enabled ways of working to influence talent decisions and create greater value for the business. You will also partner with business leaders and HRBPs to anticipate future talent needs, workforce risks, and capability gaps through talent planning partnerships. This role is hybrid and based in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia-Pacific Corporate HQ. Our Team Koch Recruiting partners across the Koch enterprise to help businesses identify, attract, and hire talent that advance their visions and strategies. Within Georgia-Pacific, our recruiting team works closely with business leaders, HR partners, and capability teams to support experienced and early career talent strategies in a complex, changing business environment. Our team plays an important role in helping Georgia-Pacific respond to changing business needs with speed and quality — building stronger talent pipelines, improving decision quality, and creating value through Principle Based Management. What You Will Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters with the primary outcome of building stronger recruiting capability through others, including trusted advisor effectiveness, business influence, use of data and market insights, and value creation for Georgia-Pacific. Serve as a trusted advisor to Georgia-Pacific business leaders, hiring supervisors, and HR partners by understanding business objectives, anticipating future workforce needs, identifying talent risks or capability gaps, and aligning recruiting strategies and resources to business priorities. Advance workforce and recruiting strategies by partnering across Georgia-Pacific, Koch Recruiting, and global recruiting teams to develop talent pipelines, share market insights, support talent planning, and connect recruiting efforts to future business needs. Strengthen recruiter advisory capability by coaching the team to translate market intelligence, data, and business context into recommendations that influence talent decisions and help leaders make better workforce choices. Partner across recruiting functions including global recruiting teams, Early Career, Recruitment Marketing, and Recruiting Operations to deliver integrated talent solutions and consistent recruiting practices. Lead transformation efforts that improve how Georgia-Pacific recruiting delivers value, including evolving operating model practices, increasing recruiter efficiency, adopting practical AI-enabled solutions, and improving the quality and consistency of talent decisions. Ensure recruiting practices align with employment laws, compliance requirements, and Principle Based Hiring expectations. This is an opportunity for a strong leader to influence how talent is anticipated, identified, selected, and delivered across Georgia-Pacific while developing recruiters into trusted advisors who create measurable value through a high-impact recruiting function. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience leading teams, coaching team members, or building capability through others. Experience developing trusted partnerships with business leaders, HR partners, hiring supervisors, or other key stakeholders to solve business needs. Experience using metrics, market intelligence, business data, technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve decisions, productivity, or outcomes. Demonstrated learning agility and ability to build knowledge in a new business, function, or capability area. Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment. What Will Put You Ahead Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent strategy, Human Resources, or another people-related business function. Experience leading or supporting Early Career, campus recruiting, internship, university relations, talent pipeline, or proactive sourcing initiatives. Experience leading recruiting transformation, technology adoption, AI adoption, or process improvement initiatives. Experience applying Principle Based Management concepts to talent acquisition, leadership, or capability development. Experience working across a matrixed or global organization to influence without direct authority, align strategies, share market insights, and build capability.
