As a Field Service Engineer Intern , you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting advanced semiconductor equipment while learning how engineers help customers keep complex manufacturing systems operating safely and reliably. Based at our customer site in Hillsboro, Oregon , this internship gives you the opportunity to put your engineering education into practice in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. You’ll work alongside experienced Field Service Engineers, receive hands-on training and mentorship, and contribute to real technical projects and equipment-support activities. Throughout the internship, you’ll gain exposure to technologies such as vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, sensors, advanced metrology, electrical and mechanical systems, and complex hardware-software interactions . You’ll also have a defined internship project with clear objectives and deliverables , allowing you to apply your technical knowledge to a real engineering challenge. At the conclusion of the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to present your project, results, and key learnings to the team.
