Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE ROLE Anduril's Fury team builds cutting-edge defense hardware in Columbus, Ohio, including flight vehicles, static equipment, and moving ground equipment, as part of the effort to rebuild the arsenal. You will rapidly iterate and industrialize aircraft-class hardware from prototype through rate. Fury is Anduril's autonomous air vehicle (a Collaborative Combat Aircraft) designed to fly alongside crewed fighters. Manufacturing Fury means aircraft structures, composites, and complex electromechanical integration at scale. ABOUT THE JOB You will own the manufacturing value chain for Fury hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, and flight vehicles, rapidly iterating and industrializing aircraft-class structures and electromechanical assemblies. Your scope spans DFM, tool design and selection, process creation and optimization, vendor sourcing, quality planning, and documentation for the hardware you own. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain  for a product or set of products. • Develop novel tooling solutions for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts. • Develop process flows  that break large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes. • Own build documentation at scale (work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements), and drive DFM and DFX upstream into design. <li data-leveltext="•" data-font="" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":460,"335559991":230,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"
