This Position reports to: Field Service Manager Your role and responsibilities As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and service to our customers. You will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: Onsite and this position is a new role. This role is contributing to the Field Service Robotics in Mississauga, Ontario. You will be mainly accountable for:Applying safety rules and safe practices, as well as environmental responsibilities during all service activities. Leading Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at customer sites and reporting unsafe practices and incidents to ensure a safe working environment. Identifying new service business opportunities in close cooperation with customers and ABB teams. Coaching technicians and engineers, and supervising complex site activities and developing, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to colleagues. Acting as a trainer when needed, for both team members and customers. Our team dynamics (Optional) Qualifications for the role • As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and service to our customers. . You will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. • You have 5 years of experience in Robotics and Possess an enhanced knowledge of Robot programming : * Restore the functionality of robots / robot systems. Deal with electrical, mechanical and software problems. * Fill out a detailed service reports. * Coordinating logistics and spare parts for all service visits. * Inform the Field Service Coordinator and the Sales Engineers on possible technical improvements seen/discussed with the customer on-site. * Provide technical support via emails/phone and from the office. * Use the company’s IT tools to record support and service activities. * Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken. * Strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem solving. Ability to manage alone the repair visit on-site. * Easiness to manage the relation with the customer. * Comply with the company’s Safety and Integrity procedures and standards While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92,625 and $135,850 annually and is bonus eligible.
