This position reports to: Engineering Manager 2 __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for highly complex projects, also ensuring that the solution in the nuclear project is developed according to our standards. You will guarantee completion of all activities effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical solutions to meet current and emerging business and customer requirements. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Creating and implementing service activities alignment with Project Managers and Site Managers. Managing service activities to ensure compliance with contractual, safety, quality, and cybersecurity requirements. Coordinating services activities with project teams, contractors, and site stakeholders. Developing and implementing innovative processes, tools, and engineering solutions to improve project execution. Managing senior-level customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet project requirements. Leading risk and opportunity assessments, defining mitigation actions, and monitoring their implementation. Supporting project planning by preparing work plans, cost estimates, and resource allocation strategies. Coaching and training project teams on safe, cybersecure, and effective commissioning practices. Applying commissioning practices with awareness of nuclear sector requirements, including strict safety culture, regulatory compliance, traceability, documentation control, and quality assurance standards. Qualifications for the role You have a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field. You have proven experience in installation, commissioning, or project execution within industrial, energy, nuclear, and automation environments. You have strong knowledge of safety, quality, contractual, and cybersecurity requirements related to commissioning activities. You are capable of managing multiple stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and cross-functional project teams. You are a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and risk management skills. You have excellent communication skills Previous exposure to nuclear projects, nuclear safety standards, regulated environments, or commissioning activities in nuclear facilities will be considered a strong plus. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
