Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CT Reconstruction Software Architect to lead the architecture and development of next-generation CT reconstruction platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining software architecture, driving image reconstruction innovations, and leading cross-functional technical initiatives that shape future CT products. This role requires deep expertise in GPU programming and parallel computing, including the design of scalable, high-performance reconstruction pipelines using CUDA/OpenCL and heterogeneous computing architectures. The architect will drive optimization strategies for computational efficiency, memory management, and real-time image reconstruction performance across advanced CT platforms. Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibility In this role, you will: Define and drive the software architecture strategy for CT reconstruction systems across multiple product generations. Lead the design, development, and optimization of CT image reconstruction pipelines, image processing chains, and large-scale clinical imaging applications, ensuring high image quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability. Lead software performance acceleration initiatives leveraging GPU programming, parallel computing, heterogeneous computing platforms, and modern computer architectures. Architect high-performance reconstruction frameworks through deep understanding of CPU/GPU architectures, memory hierarchy, task scheduling, data movement, and distributed computing techniques. Collaborate closely with Physics, Algorithm, Clinical Science, System Engineering, Hardware, and Product teams to translate clinical and business requirements into innovative imaging solutions. Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design decisions with senior technical leaders across functions and organizations. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies in high-performance computing, imaging science, and software engineering to continuously improve system capability and efficiency. Drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies into CT reconstruction workflows, including AI-assisted image reconstruction, image enhancement, denoising, artifact reduction, image quality optimization, and intelligent workflow automation. Define architecture and deployment strategies for AI-enabled reconstruction solutions, balancing image quality, computational efficiency, robustness, scalability, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, establishing best practices in software architecture, system design, code quality, and development processes. Contribute to long-term technology strategy and innovation initiatives that shape the future direction of CT imaging products. Qualification/Requirements MS or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Medical Imaging, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years of software architecture and technical leadership experience in medical imaging, scientific computing, or high-performance computing domains. Expert-level proficiency in C++ software development, including modern C++ (C++14/17/20), object-oriented design, multithreading, performance optimization, and large-scale software systems. Strong programming skills in Python for algorithm prototyping, workflow automation, performance analysis, and AI/ML development. Deep expertise in GPU programming and optimization, including CUDA, OpenCL, SIMD vectorization, and similar technologies. Strong understanding of parallel computing, distributed computing concepts, and performance engineering for compute-intensive applications. Solid knowledge of computer architecture, including CPU/GPU architecture, memory hierarchy, cache optimization, SIMD/vectorization, data locality, and heterogeneous computing systems. Hands-on experience with high-speed CT data acquisition, data transfer, storage, and processing pipelines, including architecture design and optimization for large-scale imaging data flows. Hands-on experience applying AI/Deep Learning techniques to medical imaging applications, such as image reconstruction, denoising, artifact reduction, image quality enhancement, or intelligent imaging workflows. Demonstrated ability to lead architecture decisions, drive technical innovation, and influence cross-functional engineering teams. Good communication (Chinese/English), collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
