The Position Network Technical Lead – Digital Solutions Roche Diagnostics is a division of Roche. As a Network Technical Lead within the Digital Solutions Chapter of Post Market Quality (PMQ), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of Roche's digital health solutions once they are in the hands of customers and patients. Our chapter supports a broad portfolio of cloud platforms, mobile applications, connected medical devices, and digital ecosystems. Every day, we investigate complex product quality issues, customer complaints, and patient allegations, working closely with Development, Regulatory, Medical, and global affiliates to understand what happened, determine the technical root cause, and drive the right actions to continuously improve our products. As the Network Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership across this ecosystem. This is a matrix leadership position, where your success comes from influencing technical direction, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and enabling engineering teams to resolve the most challenging product quality investigations while continuously strengthening our technical capabilities and ways of working. The Opportunity As a Network Technical Lead within the Digital Solutions Chapter of Post Market Quality (PMQ), you will lead the technical community responsible for a portfolio of Roche's Digital Solutions, ensuring we continue to deliver the highest standards of quality, reliability, and patient safety after our products reach the market. You provide technical leadership for the investigation and resolution of the most complex customer complaints, product quality issues, and patient allegations across Roche's Digital Solutions portfolio. You coordinate cross-functional investigations involving software engineers, product teams, quality experts, and global affiliates to ensure timely, evidence-based root cause analysis. You enable teams to make sound technical decisions while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. You identify trends emerging from field experience and customer feedback, driving proactive improvements that enhance product quality, reliability, and patient safety. You partner closely with Engineers and Sub Chapter leads to continuously improve engineering practices, investigation approaches, and way of working across the Digital Solutions Chapter. Who You Are: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in software engineering, software architecture, or technical leadership within complex cloud-based and distributed software environments. Demonstrated success leading through influence in matrix organizations, bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve common technical goals. Strong technical background in modern software development, cloud technologies, distributed systems, DevOps practices, or digital health solutions. Passion for coaching engineers, building technical communities, and developing people through mentorship rather than formal line management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions in complex environments. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
