This position reports to: Business Manager - Commercial and Operat __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. The work model for the role is: Onsite You will be mainly accountable for:Penetrate and grow the Installed Base (IB) by identifying and developing sales opportunities for upgrade, retrofit, and value-add solutions, utilizing IB databases to expand ABB's footprint in designated areas and new markets. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with channel strategy and pricing frameworks, proactively monitoring performance and proposing recovery plans when targets are at risk. Drive service sales growth across the entire service portfolio by generating leads, exploring new market opportunities, and leveraging market trend insights to identify and develop potential new service offerings. Represent ABB as a skilled marketer and solutions partner during customer engagements, campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing activities to promote ABB's full range of service products and solutions. Build and nurture long-term customer relationships by deeply understanding customer needs, applicable regulations, and technical requirements — translating these into relevant ABB Service offerings and Life Cycle Management (LCM) solutions. Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the sales process by capturing customer feedback, maintaining high satisfaction levels, and contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records by regularly updating the IB in the Service database with site changes and registering all required information into the appropriate customer systems. Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Automation, Chemical or another relevant Engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Automation, Instrumentation, and Analytical products sales, service sales, or project execution. Strong technical knowledge of process automation systems, field instrumentation, analyzers, and industrial control solutions. Proven track record in developing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving revenue and profitability targets. Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and managing customer service agreements. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, engineering teams, and service operations. What's in it for you?
