Advanced Quality Planning Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated AQP Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) process, ensuring that all automotive products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of the site’s Quality leadership team, responsible for day-to-day execution and strategic direction setting. What You Will Do Project Planning, Management: Lead, develop and manage the AQP project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Lead and coordinate customer claims through cross-functional teams, ensuring timely investigation, effective containment, root cause identification, and sustainable corrective actions to closure. Facilitate communication between various departments to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Oversee the maintenance of Control Plan. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all AQP documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date. Report on project status, progress, and any issues, both internal, external . Process Qualification and Control: Oversee production trials, ensuring they meet quality standards. Develop and implement control plans to maintain process consistency and quality . Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance product. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Demonstrated good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. Striving for continuous development. Problem-solving and statistical process control skills. Can work independently. Decision-making skills. Strong English language skills. Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook) . What Will Put You Ahead Knowledge of quality management systems in accordance with AIAG and VDA. Team Lead experience. SAP proficiency. SPC analysis. PPAP Process experience.
