he Business Services Admin – Data Center Procurement is responsible for supporting procurement activities related to Data Center infrastructure, hardware, network equipment, software/support services, facilities, maintenance, and associated services . The role will support the procurement lifecycle from requirement/PR initiation through PO, contract, delivery, invoice, renewal, and closure , while coordinating with internal stakeholders, category teams, suppliers, OEMs, and finance teams. The position requires strong analytical, procurement, stakeholder-management, and reporting skills, with emphasis on cost control, SLA adherence, contract compliance, data accuracy, and process improvement . Process Improvement & Automation Skill Requirements Procurement & Functional Skills Procurement Operations Data Center/IT Procurement PR-to-PO Process Purchase Order Management Contract Administration Supplier/OEM Management RFQ/RFP Support Commercial Comparison Spend Analysis Invoice Issue Resolution Procurement MIS & Reporting SLA/KPI Management Procurement Compliance & Governance Technical Skills Advanced MS Excel , including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, logical functions, data reconciliation, and MIS reporting Knowledge of SAP / SAP Ariba / ERP procurement systems Working knowledge of Power BI preferred Exposure to Power Query, Power Automate, and SharePoint would be an advantage Ability to work with large procurement and spend datasets Other Requirements Behavioral Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Effective stakeholder and supplier communication Strong follow-up and coordination skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Ownership and accountability Commercial awareness Customer/service-oriented mindset Ability to work under defined SLA timelines Continuous improvement mindset Education & Experience Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations, IT, or a related discipline. Experience: Typically 3–6 years of relevant experience in procurement operations, preferably involving Data Center, IT Infrastructure, Hardware, Telecom/Networking, Technology Procurement, or IT Services . Preferred Experience Candidates with exposure to the following would be preferred: Data Center or IT infrastructure procurement Hardware/OEM procurement Servers, storage, and networking categories AMC/warranty/support renewals Contract and PO management IT supplier/vendor management SAP/SAP Ariba Procurement analytics and MIS Commercial comparison and spend analysis Apply now Information at a Glance Why HCLTech?
