As a SharePoint / Power Platform Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise collaboration, workflow, and low-code solutions using Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform. The role combines application development and production support across SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, with a focus on business process automation, integrations, security, governance, and reliable application operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and support solutions using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform.Develop business applications using Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.Design and maintain automated business processes and approval workflows using Power Automate.Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, permissions, and document-management solutions.Customize SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS where required.Develop dashboards, reports, and operational insights using Power BI.Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and application security.Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications.Develop integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, connectors, and custom connectors.Provide L2/L3 production support for SharePoint and Power Platform applications.Troubleshoot Power Apps failures, Power Automate flow errors, SharePoint access issues, integration failures, and application performance problems.Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring production issues.Support application deployments, environment migrations, solution releases, and post-deployment validation.Implement role-based access, environment security, governance, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls.Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes through ServiceNow in alignment with ITIL practices.Develop and maintain technical documentation, application support guides, SOPs, and operational runbooks.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable digital solutions. Skill Requirements SharePoint Strong experience with: SharePoint Online SharePoint Sites and Site Collections Lists and Document Libraries Content Types and Metadata SharePoint Permissions and Security SharePoint Search SharePoint Framework (SPFx) SharePoint REST APIs Knowledge of document management, content governance, versioning, permissions, and information architecture is preferred. Microsoft Power Platform Hands-on experience with: Power Apps Canvas Apps Power Apps Model-Driven Apps Power Automate Cloud Flows Power BI Microsoft Dataverse Power Platform Connectors Custom Connectors Solutions and Environment Management Experience building business applications, workflows, approval processes, notifications, forms, and process automation solutions. Development & Integration Experience with: JavaScript / TypeScript HTML5 / CSS3 JSON REST APIs Microsoft Graph API PowerShell SQL Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services and enterprise applications. Power Platform ALM & DevOps Experience or working knowledge of: Power Platform Solutions Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Azure DevOps Git CI/CD pipelines Power Platform CLI Solution deployment and environment promotion Administration, Security & Governance Understanding of: Microsoft Entra ID Role-Based Access Control SharePoint permissions Power Platform environment security Data Loss Prevention policies Connector governance Environment and capacity management Application access and security management Monitoring & Production Support Experience troubleshooting: Power Automate flow failures Power Apps application errors SharePoint access and permissions Connector and API failures Data synchronization issues Application performance issues Familiarity with tools such as: ServiceNow JIRA Confluence Azure Monitor Application Insights Power Platform Admin Center Other Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in SharePoint, Power Platform development, or application production support.Hands-on experience developing and supporting Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration and low-code application development.Experience supporting business-critical applications within an SLA-driven production environment.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.Experience working with business stakeholders to analyze processes and implement workflow automation.Good knowledge of Agile, SDLC, DevOps, and ITIL practices.Experience working within global AMS/RunOps or managed-services environments is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint certifications such as PL-900, PL-200, PL-400 , or relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and AI-enabled workflow automation is an added advantage.Experience supporting Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Financial Services, or other regulated environments is desirable.
