Job Description: Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our Semiconductor Equipment business across Southeast Asia. In this customer-facing role, you will partner closely with customers' engineering teams to drive product design-ins, provide technical consultation, and identify opportunities to expand the adoption of our connectivity solutions. As a technical subject matter expert, you will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to support customer applications, understand market needs, and contribute to business growth through innovative solutions and strong customer engagement. Job Requirements Drive demand generation activities and new product design-ins at key Semiconductor Equipment accounts across Southeast Asia. Promote and expand the adoption of the company's complete product portfolio, including connectors, cable assemblies, and filter solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers' engineering and technical teams. Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, product presentations, and project review meetings on a regular basis. Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback and communicate market requirements to internal stakeholders. Manage and maintain sales opportunities and project pipelines in Salesforce. Understand customer applications, technical requirements, challenges, and competitive landscape. Identify product gaps, emerging technology trends, and new business opportunities through customer engagement and roadmap discussions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to support product development initiatives. Review and evaluate customer technical and quality specifications. Provide first-level technical support and coordinate resolution of customer inquiries and technical issues. Organize and conduct technical workshops, product trainings, seminars, and customer technology days. Key Performance Indicators Pipeline development and opportunity management New design-win and design-in achievements Revenue growth and market expansion Customer satisfaction and relationship management New product introduction and implementation success What your background should look like Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience within the Semiconductor Equipment or Semiconductor Machinery industry. Experience in application engineering, technical sales, product engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles. Exposure to industrial automation solutions would be an added advantage. Experience supporting OEMs, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, or factory automation customers is preferred.
