Job description
Engineer, Product (NPI) 📍 Hung Yen, Vietnam What You Will Do Lead/support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from design transfer, pilot build and qualification through mass production. Act as a key technical liaison between the Hung Yen plant and overseas design centers for new product setup, transfer and launch. Manage product documentation including BOMs, drawings, specifications and engineering changes. Work closely with Manufacturing, Process, Tooling and Quality teams to resolve product issues and improve yield, quality and cost. Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone and FMEA to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Support product and process improvements, testing, inspection and tooling qualification. Provide technical support to customers and global teams when required. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, ideally within electronics, connectors or precision components. Hands-on experience with new product launches / NPI in a manufacturing environment. Good knowledge of BOM management, engineering change control, technical drawings and GD&T . Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively with global teams. What Will Put You Ahead Experience with manufacturing processes such as stamping, molding, plating, assembly or automation. Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA and 8D . Experience working with overseas design centers or multi-site product transfers. Knowledge of 3D CAD and data analysis tools. Basic conversational Mandarin is an advantage Why Join Us?
