ob Description Position: Campus Head - Engineering Services Location: HCLTech Noida Campus, Noida, India Function: Global Workplace Services (GWS) / Integrated Facilities Management Reporting To: Regional Head / Head - Engineering & Facilities Operations Position Summary The Campus Head - Engineering Services is responsible for the overall leadership, governance, reliability, safety, compliance, and operational excellence of all engineering infrastructure across the HCLTech Noida Campus. The role ensures uninterrupted operation of mission-critical systems supporting business continuity, employee experience, sustainability objectives, and statutory compliance while driving operational efficiencies, asset optimization, and cost management. The position serves as the single point of accountability for engineering operations and leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, BMS, utilities, fire & life safety systems, energy management, and critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Engineering Operations & Maintenance Lead end-to-end engineering service delivery for the campus. Ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of critical engineering infrastructure. Manage operation and maintenance of: HT/LT Electrical Systems DG Sets UPS Systems HVAC Systems Chillers and Cooling Infrastructure Building Management Systems (BMS) Water Treatment Plants (STP/WTP) Plumbing Systems Elevators & Escalators Fire Detection & Suppression Systems Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs. Critical Environment Management Ensure uninterrupted support for: Data Centers Server Rooms Command Centers Business Critical Facilities Manage emergency response and contingency planning. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA). Asset & Lifecycle Management Develop asset replacement and refresh strategies. Manage End-of-Life (EOL) and modernization programs. Ensure asset health monitoring and lifecycle forecasting. Maintain asset registers and engineering documentation. Energy & Sustainability Management Drive campus energy optimization initiatives. Track and reduce energy consumption, water consumption, and carbon footprint. Deliver annual energy-saving targets. Support ESG, sustainability, and green building initiatives. Ensure compliance with ISO 50001 and sustainability programs. Fire, Life Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with: National Building Code Electrical Safety Regulations Fire & Life Safety Norms PESO Requirements Local Statutory Regulations Environmental Regulations Conduct audits, drills, and compliance reviews. Maintain zero critical compliance failures. Vendor & Contract Management Lead IFMS engineering service providers and OEM partners. Manage AMCs and technical service contracts. Monitor SLA and KPI performance. Drive continuous improvement and vendor performance governance. Validate technical proposals and capital expenditures. Projects & Capital Works Lead engineering projects, retrofits, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Manage budgets, schedules, risk, and stakeholder communication. Ensure project execution without disruption to business operations. Financial & Budget Management Prepare annual engineering budgets and operating plans. Drive cost optimization and productivity improvements. Monitor OPEX and CAPEX utilization. Ensure financial governance and budget adherence. Risk Management & Business Continuity Develop and maintain engineering risk registers. Lead emergency preparedness and disaster recovery planning. Conduct periodic risk assessments and mitigation reviews. Ensure business continuity for critical infrastructure. People Leadership Lead engineering managers, facility engineers, technicians, and vendor teams. Build technical capability and succession plans. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive high-performance team culture and employee engagement.
