As a Jira Administrator , you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, configuration, and optimization of the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira Data Center, Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Assets (Insight) . You will play a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide collaboration, IT service delivery, and asset management. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Administer and configure Jira Data Center & Cloud, including DC-to-Cloud migration (Jira & Jira service Desk). Manage Jira Issue types, workflows, screens, permissions, custom fields, automation rules, notifications ,and screen schemes. Set up and support Jira Service Management (JSM): service desks, SLAs, request types, and portals. Design and maintain Assets (Insight) schemas. Support Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and plug-in management. Provide application support for Jira, Confluence, and JSM across IT and business teams. Gather and analyze business requirements to optimize Jira/Confluence configurations. Evaluate, test, and configure Jira/Confluence plug-ins. Automate tasks using REST APIs, webhooks, and ScriptRunner. Create Jira projects, filters, dashboards, and reports. Document workflows, configurations, and processes to support runbooks and training. Stay updated with the latest Jira features and best practices. Skill Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: Jira administration experience (DC & Cloud), including DC-to-Cloud migration (Jira & Jira service Desk).. Expertise in Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Assets (Insight). Strong understanding of ITIL practices and service management workflows. Proficient in REST APIs, scripting (e.g., Python/Groovy/ScriptRunner/), and system integrations. Familiar with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and SAFe methodologies. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication; effective stakeholder engagement.
