Main Tasks You will draft, review, and negotiate local or international legal and intellectual property contracts, using templates and playbooks within defined limits. You will provide legal and compliance support on various matters, including due diligence, merger and acquisition projects, audits, and legal investigations. You will manage the contract lifecycle, ensure process efficiency, and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of contract templates and knowledge management systems. You will interact with internal clients and external customers as required for your assigned tasks. You will perform ancillary tasks such as preparing presentations, using legal tech tools, and handling translations. Requirements University degree in Law, preferably with a focus on commercial law At least 3 years of professional experience in legal and commercial contract management, preferably with knowledge or practice of both common-law and civil-law systems Experienced in drafting and performing legal review of contracts, preferably with an emphasis on commercial law Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling effective contribution in an international environment Experienced in working with legal databases and standard IT applications Able to communicate effectively and tailor messages to the target audience, while leveraging value-creating opportunities for collaboration both in-house and across units Strong analytical skills, a goal-oriented working style, and a pronounced customer orientation make you a valuable member of our team Kuala Lumpur, MYS BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre Sdn.
