As a Field Process Engineer at ASM, you’ll work directly with customers to optimize thin-film deposition processes that power the future of semiconductor technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving performance, precision, and customer satisfaction. What you will be working on • Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation to support ASM’s business goals. • Provide technical guidance during tool installs, repairs, operations, and calibration. • Develop and refine process recipes, collaborating with hardware engineering to meet customer performance targets. • Analyze complex data to define problems, develop solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations. • Partner with customers to optimize tool performance and meet integration requirements. • Create and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer audiences. What we are looking for • Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or relevant major. • 2+ years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders. • Strong customer-focused mindset and communication skills in Korean and English. • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate safety equipment. • Proficiency in MS Office tools. • Deep understanding of semiconductor process flows, especially ALD, PEALD, EPI, CVD, PECVD. • Knowledge of thin-film deposition technologies. • Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures. • Fluent English communication Apply today to be part of what’s next.
